Conferences

Christian Union runs two conferences each year, and takes part in a nation-wide conference in December.

• Ignition is a day conference held to kick off the academic year. It runs in late March each year, and is a great way to begin or deepen Christian fellowship at uni, hear some great things from the Bible, and think about living for Jesus on campus in the coming months.
• Mid-Year Conference (MYC) is a major highlight of the CU calendar. Run in the last week of July each year (just before semester 2 kicks off), this is a full week to spend diving into God’s word, wrestling with its implications for life, hanging out with other great Christian brothers and sisters, and enjoying God’s creation.
• National Training Event (NTE) is a conference in early December each year that includes students coming from all over Australia, and often even further afield. A 5-day conference is held in Canberra, followed by another few days spent helping a church run a short mission in their local area—wherever in Australia that might be!
